Misano Adriatico
Sea and hospitality, in the land of motors
Misano Adriatico boasts a coastline of 3 km, from the tourist port of Portoverde to the border with Riccione. Perfect for children, the beach has very fine golden sand, a shallow and safe bottom. Much of the coast is occupied by equipped bathing establishments but there is no shortage of free beaches, the closest of which is 300 m from our hotel.
The nearest bathing establishment called "The Beaches of the Moon" is located 150 m from the hotel. Among the many services it has a large "natural" infinity pool on the sand, to the delight of the whole family.
A little further away (600/700 m. - 7 minutes on foot) you can find quieter and more spacious beaches.
Misano is not only sea but also has green hills where in the summer various village festivals are organized in the internal fractions of the municipality.
For bicycle lovers, our town is located within a cycle path that easily leads from Gabicce to Rimini (20 km). The “Oasi del Conca” nature trail starts right from Misano, a simple and pleasant itinerary to tackle both by bicycle and on foot. Before setting off along the Conca river, we recommend a visit through the streets of Portoverde, the characteristic Mediterranean-style port born in the 70s.
The Hotel Adria is located 4.5 km from the center of Riccione and 4 km from the center of Cattolica, reachable with a quiet walk in about 50 minutes on foot or 20 minutes by bicycle.
The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is 3 km from the hotel. The Riccione thermal baths are 4 km away.
The famous water and theme parks of the Riviera are also easily reachable, guaranteed fun for young and old: Cattolica Aquarium, Aquafan, Oltremare, Fiabilandia, Italia in miniature and Mirabilandia.
From April to September the large pedestrian area in the center of Misano comes alive with various shops, bars, ice cream parlors and a large funfair. Enjoy a stroll along the beautiful promenade, with its greenery and fountains. During the summer evenings there are frequent parties in the square with shows and live music and craft markets. To eat there is plenty of choice, among the many traditional restaurants of fish or meat and of ethnic cuisine, pizzerias, piadine kiosks or delicatessens, where you can enjoy a delicious lasagna or a fresh seafood salad.
Misano offers the right compromise between leisure and tranquility.
